Hillary, yet, at the same time, lend their endorsement to Rudy Giuliani, who publicly cheated on his wife AND married his second cousin?

Ronin... tsk, tsk... Clinton was acquitted. He did not commit perjury. Unless you think the United States Senate lied for him.

Because they were being disingenuous about Clinton. They didn't care if he cheated on his wife (after all, Newt Gingrich was having an adulterous affair WHILE leading the impeachment fight). It just gave them another issue to try to destroy him with. They had already tried Whitewater and all kind of issues with the millions of dollars they got from Richard Mellon Scaife, and finally, they hit pay dirt with Monica. They were hoping he would get so humiliated he would quit and/or that he would lose all power and credibility with American voters. They will do the very same thing to Hillary if she is chosen as the candidate.

You must have been very young, very uninformed or very liberal during the entire Clinton's administration and prior to his getting into office.
For openers, perjury is just as much a criminal offense for a president as it is for the rest of us. Cheating on his wife was the least of what he did while in office and earlier in his career and even beyond that. People say that he couldn't be trusted as President, not because he cheated on his wife, but because he is not a trust-worthy person. Check it out!
I would suggest, if you seriously want to know the answer to you own question that you do some heavy research.
You can't really 'demonize' someone who has no demons.

Oh! Don't forget how the Clinton's were caught trying to steal things out of the White House on their way out the door!! Not the act of a very trust-worthy couple, wouldn't you say?
As for Rudy? Were you concerned about who he was married to or his personal life during the whole 9/11 situation? He handled things admirably. On the other hand. Bill Clinton's military expertise includes bombing an aspirin factory and chopping the h*ll out of our military to make himself look good on the fiscal front.
It's to early to say and I am not a Rep. or a Dem. but I know I would choose Giuliani over either Clinton, ANY DAY!

I do not support Giuliani. And how is it you know those who didn't like what Clinton did with Lewinski are supporting Guiliani? Maybe they aren't supporting him for the same reason. I know a lot of people don't for that reason.

I'll tell you now Giuliani will not get the nomination, he is too liberal.

Further, I don't think the primary issue was the fact he cheated, it's a little deeper than that nasty cigar ever got.

It was bad enough he did it right in the Oval office but he lied!! And this in itself didn't make me think of him as a demon but it's all those deaths of his witnesses in his many many many scandals as well as some who were supposidly his freinds and then the 12 body guards who died as well. It's the many scandals in which the evidence came up missing and little things like Hillary investing a small amount of money to have it turn into huge amounts in a matter of a week! I find what Rudy did or does is small change compared to what some of the politicians have against them!

They CAN'T. What he did was morally wrong, but it had NO effect in the real world. He was a great President. What he did was PURELY personal. Did his deed set off millions of bombs, kill Iraqis, inflame the rest of the world, and create a huge national debt? NO. In fact, many of the people that were calling for his impeachment were hypocrites. The "head guy" recently admitted to cheating on his wife DURING the impeachment case. Clinton did commit a crime through perjury, BUT he should never have been brought to trial.
BILL CLINTON RULES.

Yes and with this mistress he is now married to , took her in the New York mayors mansion and moved her in one wall over from his wife and two children and they could listen through that thin wall what was going on , they were having sex She just moved her clothes and and all in , her daughter was so ashamed she called her Dad and he came and got her and she never returned. The Judge had to tell Rudy to get her out of that house and he moved into a Hotel room . He is the most immoral man that ever stood on two feet.

Bill established the new precedent that a person's personal life or sexual escapades are a private matter and shouldn't be a factor in evaluating their performance in office. Works both ways.

I do not care what Bill Clinton does/did but the fact that he did it in the oval office is a disgrace and an insult to all Americans. Ones private life should be just that, private. You cannot compare Bill and Rudy. Both did wrong but Bill insulted the government of the USA and the office of the President. Peace

Basic politics and hypocricy.

Giulianni also anounced his divorce to his wife of 15 some odd years, at a press conference on television.

Republicans are very forgiving of their own kind. especially if they think they have someone who can rally the next white house election.

There is way more than cheating, there is the way he lied about it and tried to make Monica look like a mentally disturbed person just like he did to Jennifer Flowers and others
