a blown head gasket will do that ,it will only cause a little coolant at a time to pass through a water jacket and that will cause it to loose coolant like that,i run across them all the time that do this, and the best way to find this problem is have a pressure check ran on the truck, this will show a loss if its leaking, its slowly burning it through the engine, not enough to notice but enough for you to have to add to it,the last one i tore down like that had a tiny place in one of the water jackets on the gasket ,and that was how it was escaping,if it continues to do this have a pressure check done on it,good luck with it.

Coolant could be chemically breaking down. I had that problem once when I mixed the regular stuff with the stuff that's safe for animals.

OR

it could be boiling over and running out through the cap on the fill bottle. I've seen that, too.

Make sure you use the same type of antifreeze, get the system flushed, use the proper mixture.

yes that is posable but first have the system chked under pressure with a tester then chk the water pump. it could be possable that u have cracked the heads alil bit and it is seeping into the exost system and u my not notice it chk out the color of the vapor s that come out it will be a light funky color if that is the issue

With the engine running, look for bubbles in the coolant resevoir.

Got bubbles? leaking/seeping head gasket.

yes just because you can see water in the oil doesn't mean that the head gasket isn't bad it could just be going out the exhaust as water vapor you might not see it

If this has been going on for a while, you can check the spark plugs for rust on the electrode.
