I review before I submit and if it doesn't sound right I cancel or delete it. Does anyone else do this?

I am learning to make sure I am in a relaxed and centered place before I even read the questions posted. Then I select questions that catch my attention or resonate. Next, I put myself in the person's shoes and answer the question with a combination of truth (I hope) and compassion. I listen deep within myself, and then I write what I think I would need to hear or read if I were in that situation or predicament. So far I haven't deleted or edited any answers. I will consider that in the future; I am relatively new here. Still, I do spend a lot of time proofreading before I post my answers.

I do that. It's generally on a Friday night when I've had a difficult week of twelve hour days, and I've had to write up numerous children for being disruptive, and I've ended up coming home and drinking three mudslides.

At that point the level of my grammar and spelling seems to take a serious dive and I've come back in the next week only to notice that I said things that made no sense, and are almost incoherent.

I don't come here very often though and as it's only Yahoo answers and I'm not getting graded, or paid for it according to performance..I can truly say I really don't care!

Everyone has to be a little out of control sometimes..and maybe this is my medium for doing so.

Yes, I usually answer at the end of a busy day after working, taking care of a kids/hubby and they are all off in bed. So sometimes I'm not always thinking clearly. I always read and sometimes re-read my answer. I always try to make sure my answer is being conveyed correctly and not sarcastically or not as I intend. If it sounds good...I hit "submit".

I am tired right now. Should I not be answering your question about answering?

I answer serious questions seriously (usually)
I answer silly questions with silly answers (always)
I ask mostly silly questions when I ask, which is not often.

I preview before submitting, but I also will edit afterwards if I spot something wrong with my post.

Only during the first cup of coffee in the mornings :)
Then I'm wide awake.
But I do review and edit as needed.
Rarely do I delete.

I do not answer when I'm tired...and I only review my answer for spelling errors and I do not delete it.
