They can call the police and claim it was hit and run, if they want. Did you do any damage to their car? If not, then they just wanted to forget about it.

By info, do you mean that you gave them your address and name? Then they can turn it in to their insurance company, and let the insurance deal with you.

Hard to say, for sure without all the info of what happened.
