Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan is the first to cross the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans in a single journey. He dies in a battle, but one of his ships completes the global circumnavigation, returning to Seville on September 6, 1522.

I think you could credit Juan Sebastian del Cano, the lieutenant of Magellan's who completed the circumnavigation of the world in 1522 after a three year voyage. About 18 men were left with him out of some 270 who started in 1519. Del Cano's ship was the only one of five to make it.

Surely nobody could have been absolutely everywhere. The land area of the world is just under 150 million km². To visit each km² for 1 minute only would take 285 years.

Travelled how? Sailed around it? Flew a hot air balloon? By plane or do you mean has anyone travelled to EVERY place in the world as in every country, city, etc.
