while discussing Nas in GOAT conversations, over say your KRS...is that Nas has and has executed countless issues that KRS hasn't, which provides to the resume. for example, the classic concentrated visitor appearances, helping in reviving East Coast Hip Hop, and, of direction, the classic fued. KRS has had his beefs, yet Nas arguably gained the main in call for pork of all time (which additionally placed Hip Hop back on the map). What besides DETRACTS from KRS' legacy is the indisputable fact that when those 9 albums, he has what share wack albums? Hip Hop is lifeless is a 4 mic album imo...Hip Hop Lives is a 2 mic imo. upload to that the indisputable fact that Nas is in all possibility the main correct emcee that made his debut pre-1998, and you have one comprehensive artist. "Hip Hop is lifeless" and the debate surrounding the album call...yeah, Nas makes beneficial his call isn't forgotten. there are emcees that should rival Nas so a methods as album consistency is going ex. Kool G Rap,Ghostface, Rakim,MF Doom, and Guru, and there are emcees that should rival him lyrically ex. Aceyalone & J-stay. and that i'm cosigning what you stated there.

Yay Area's definitely, but if we venture a little bit underground you'll find the most innovative producer around, Stoupe The Enemy of Mankind, part of Jedi Mind Tricks.

I agree w/ Yay on his choices, and I would add Alchemist who uses a lot of different genres to create his music, Havoc who has produced some classics but usually goes unrecognized, and 9th wonder.

Haha...Dre...thats funny cuz Dre doesnt really sample that much anymore...Mel Man and Khalil and Hi Tek and other cats making his beats do but they just dont get the credit....anyways...I would say Kno from Cunninlynguists...DJ Khalil...MF DOOM...Hi Tek....J-Zone...9th Wonder...Khrysis...Molemen...Da Beatminerz...DJ Spinna...Elusive a cat from LA who is super dope....Ant from Atmosphere...Joe Beats...Jel who was down with Anticon...Evidence...DJ Muggs...oh Lordy I can just go on and on...shout out to your name in my all time fav producer Buckwild who never gets the credit...Lord Finesse of course...Diamond is still makin beats and so is Showbiz....this is a easy question and I left off a ton of cats like Thes One of PUTS...but never would I rank Dre high on the list of guys who samples because he is rich enough to either pay somebody to play the beat so he doesnt have to sample....or just pay somebody to make the beat so he gets the credit...but there are a bunch of producers I left out but these are the ones I can think of now...oh yea Havoc and Necro...OK Im done...no Im not cuz BDI and qwerty got great ones in Stuope and Marco Polo...and I cannot forget to mention Layla the Pecan Delight cuz Alchemist is one who alotta cats sleepin on...OK now Im really done...really
