He said that he would stop making albums if kanye outsold him. Now he's saying that if he get's outsold, he will release an album everytime kanye does, or something like that. Being a former hustler and dealer, 50 should know more than anyone that you don't go back on what you said without losing credibility. I think he has reached his peak and he knows it. The initial claim that he would quit if kanye outsold him was a publicity stunt to generate interest in his album, which did not work as well as he planned.

Barcelona, i didn't say i beleived him. But someone who would resort to this sort of marketing stunt shows that they are desperate. Gangsta rappers are supposed to live by what they say, now 50 is going back on something he never should have said to begin with.

Mz, it's one thing for an artist to say that they will retire, but what 50 did is totally different. He is backing out of what he said and the final sale figures aren't even out yet. It was obviously a marketing stunt to generate interest in his album and he had no intention of quitting. 50 obviously has no problem with lying to his fans to generate extra interest in his album to add to the sales figures.
