We have free will but we nee to the laws of material nature so we don't get negative reactions to our actions. (Karma) If we act according to the laws of material nature then we will get good karma. If we want to become transcendental to all karma then we have to engage ourselves in Bhakti Yoga. First we need to understand the basics.IE-
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy.In this way we will take control of our life not let it control us.

Only God knows the future, we will never control it, we must put our faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, Gods son who came to earth to die for our sins, we who are saved know our future after we die, but right now I as a Christian am just daily trusting him to guide and protect me. Since we can't control God, we cannot control the future here on earth, if you want your future to be in Heaven then you will need to say the sinners prayer and believe in Jesus, just say, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life.
