why do people always conform.
Why are there goths or preps or any other clique.
Just be yourself. Stop acting like others. Be a leader, not a follower. Don't laugh unless it's truly funny. Don't say yes unless you've thought it through. Don't say no just because everyone else says no.
Stick up for the one everyone's making fun of.

I doubt you jumped around saying "I'M GOTH!" So everyone saying, "Don't conform," needs to shut up. Labels are broad. Anyone with a darker mindset can be goth. People make fun of goths because first they band us together under a broad, common subculture. Then they poke at us for being a part of a group of similar people. Similarity binds us as friends, goth friends, not TRYING to conform to anything. Similarity damns us all to ridicule.
You can join a club or team and hang out with people with similar interests, but oh heck no, you can't be part of a subculture for the same reason!!!
Sarcasm aside, people are idiots. Ignore them.

IMO, I don't care much for adolescent labels. But people have always made fun of others who aren't deemed "normal" by their standards. If a goth kid got bullied in school (and I have seen it) people assume the goth deserved it because of the way he/she dressed or carried themselves. We all need to get past the assumptions.

I don't even know what you are talking about. People put labels on themselves and then think that they are exempt. Everyone breathes the same air as everyone else. And one day we will all be dead. So therefore no one is any better or worse or different than anyone else.

human beings make exciting of others, the two consciously or subconsciously in an attempt to make themselves look extra constructive than the objective. later in existence we discover ways to make exciting of ourselves to make ourselves extra constructive. i assume immaturity performs a key place interior the poking of exciting at others.
