yeah dude when somebody has a baby they always refer to it as 'the new baby' at least for the first few weeks.
actually i reckon the 'newness' wears off after you've been in the world for a minute but oldness begins and continues until death. so somebody over lets say 65 is now considered 'old' then they will be 'old' until the die. if a baby is just born it is a 'new' baby. once we get used to having it in the world it is no longer 'new' then there is a period of limbo called 'middle aged' but that is a totally different subject.
that took a lot of thought. i need a cigarette.

I used to think anyone beyond 25 was old.
New people are called new borns.
And those born when the woman is going through the early stages of menopause are called, Oops, that wasn't supposed to happen, now!

because the elderly are old already...and children can not be called new people because they are not new...the new ones are the babies...thats why they called new born babies...ummm, you can call them new people? but its ugly though....
