I am only venting, because someone broke into my car last night and ruined my door locks and now I can't get into my car. So I've been crying all day, cause I don't know what to do

To dixie8026 - I don't appreciate your comment, and I'm just wondering if you have any friends? It's not very nice to tell someone to stop whinning when they're upset. I don't have car insurance as I can't afford it at the moment because I have to pay for part of my chemmotherapy treatment, as the private health insurance doesn't cover it all. So having my car broken into on top of everything else going on in my life has just upset me. I hope you can understand that!!!!!

Call AAA to get it open (if you're not a member, they can sign you up on the spot - and it's pretty cheap), then drive it to the dealer (or workshop of your choice.) Leave the window open when you get there so they can still unlock/open the door from the inside.

Get a police report, and then turn it in to your insurance. If you don't have insurance, then I am sorry for you.

good luck with it.

If you called the cops they should have checked it out, and they have tools to unlock cars from the inside...
