Why do people hate or dislike ugly people? (Do you hate or dislike ugly?)?

I guess you mean "ugly" on the inside because that is the only ugly any of us are qualified to speak of. So then, yes, I hate ugly

I do not hate anyone, but there are some people I would just as soon not be around until they change their attitude. Real ugliness comes from the inside, and you usually don't have to be around a person long before that will come shining thru. There is a bitterness there that they have been carrying around inside, misery loves company, and if we can't change their attitude quickly, it tends to drive us away, I guess I should try a little more patience. People are inclined to like people they consider attractive, remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder so someone I may consider unattractive either on the outside or inside may be found attractive by another person.
Now if your talking about people who have phys. feats. that seem to appeal to many ppl the same still holds, because someone can look at the same persons features & find something they don't like, like freckles or moles or one eye appears to be bigger than the other. I've heard all kinds of excuses people use to pick someone else apart.
I have to admit I am a little vain when it comes to a man & his physical looks (everyone has their type), but how would people get together--you have to go by what you see first, it's difficult to be attracted to the personality of another person if you've never had an opportunity to speak to them before. I think judging ppl on their outer features serves it's purpose but I don't believe in being verbally cruel to people I think are ugly & I don't try to humiliate them or talk badly about them to other people.

This is an interesting question but you never said if you hate or dislike ugly people? How do you treat someone you find ugly?

Hey, that's a great question! I think to some extent people feel that ugliness is the product of bad behavior. Unfortunately, ugly people never get the chance to prove otherwise.
I have always found it a refreshing aspect of Yahoo! Answers that we do not actually meet the odors, germs, malice, (and so much more) of others. This is very like being a disembodied spirit--and it beats the ugly people of real life. Not to mention ourselves. Kind of unfair to the Brad Pitts, though.

To answer your question, the ones that don't like to hang around with them (ugly people) because they have ugly characters, ugly attitudes themselves. Beauty does not build character as they say and ugly is right to the bone. Ugly characters create ugly faces--sorry to say that but it's true.

i like this question because i could win the ugly duckling contest. I have stringing hair and im missing teeth. I am over weight and my boobies drag. My feet are webbed and I have these whiskers. I truly am ugly. you are right because I have no friends
