to begin, im a dude. i like to wear panties, sometimes thongs, though not very often. i started by just trying on my sister's underwear, but i never actually wore them under my clothes or anything. i tried them on and then put them back, and as of now i have never been caught, though there were close calls. anyways, i tried them on, put them back. i really like the way they feel, panties that is, thongs are ok, but they tend to chafe. i really like womens boy short underwear in like nylon, soft cotton and spandex. i'm pretty small, so they always fit good, but i never bought my own. now i know this makes me a cross dresser, so what i was hoping was that some one could give me advice on how to stop. any more questions to the nature of this, if you ask, ill give additional details for the next week. i should also point out im straight, and only into girls. also to ne one sicker than me, im not into my sister,

Well it's not necessarily the act of trying them on, because we can't just say "stop wearing panties" and expect that to help. It really all boils down to your mindset and how you think. Do you remember the first time you tried the panties on? What made you decide to do that? Once you figure out the basis of where the thoughts came from to dress like that, it'll be easier for you to find a way to stop.

I know that didn't really answer your question, but it's hard to solve something psychological like that from a quick question, y'know? If you don't mind answering, how long have you been trying them on, and for how long at a time? Also, how old are you?

E-mail me if ya want, I'd love to talk! :) kokopelli86@gmail.com.

Who exactly is the woman you are trying to emulate?
If you truly desire to stop cross-dressing, you need to figure out what it is you want from the woman you are trying to emulate.
You need to stop seeing yourself as a man or masculine dependent or not on the clothes you put on your body.
You need to disassociate your gender identity from the clothes you wear and determine why you crave certain attention from a certain woman (or certain women) by wearing their clothes.
If it's the texture of the clothing you like, why not seek out catalogs that sell men's or androgynous clothes in those materials? Didn't Victoria's Secret sell men's underpants in silks and satins? Don't they still? Have you tried those awesomely soft cords and knits OP Surfwear used to make?
Maybe you're just shopping at the wrong stores.
There's no shame in wearing soft, warm sweaters in the winter and soft cotton shirts and shorts in the summer. There's no shame in dressing comfortably at any time of year.
I say figure it out. Stop seeking attention from the people who wil never give it to you, and establish your individuality with or without them. Wear what is comfortable to you, and if anyone asks, tell them it's none of their business and move on.
P.S. A couple of my best friends in high school were guys who preferred hanging out with girls instead of guys. The other guys thought they were wimps. Those other guys have been married and divorced more than twice. My friends are on their first wives and plan to stay that way. They are the best husbands I've ever seen besides my own!
Good luck in conquering your problem.

I'm not sure you are a crossdresser. A true complusive crossdresser is that way because his brain is hard wired to respond to women's clothes with a sensation of well-being, pleasure, sexual gratification and self-identity. During his impressionable years as a child he develops an attraction to feminine identifiers. His brain associates soft, shiny, lacy clothes are feminine. He may be fascinated with these identifiers. Then he forgets about them for a few years. Then during his adolescences, when his sexual hormones begin to flow through his veins, he has a complusion to touch these identifiers. He tries them on himself, and BOOM! His brain releases a series of neurotransmitters, and he thinks, WOW what was that??? He then embarks on a period of experimentation with women's clothes. Soon he discovers that he can't stop this. He is addicted to the response his brain delivers to the act of crossdressing.

Then he needs to decide, will I go with it or fight it? He will either have to place limits on it, or it will take control over his life.

Find some comfy men's underwear.
And do you wash them before you put them back because that would be sick if you didn't.
