We're having a boy, so we were thinking about Matthew since it's a biblical name but my hubby doesn't like it. I want his name to start with a "M". Any Ideas?

What about a different Biblical M name? Malachi, Micah, Matthias, Mattaniah or Moses, for instance?

Malachi
Moses
Mordechi
or you could pick a saint's name that starts with M, like Maximillian (Max) or Marcellus (Marcel)
I think that a name that is religious in meaning but not from the bible would be ok too. Like Mitchell = who is like God?

I always was sorry I didn't have a Michael (messenger of God). He was only an archangel, not a "hero" of the Bible. My m-i-l's maiden name was Mendez, so it would have been Michael Mendez Villareal.
I like Micah as well. It's kind of making a comeback.
There's always Mark or Marcus.

i like Mathew a lot you can always call him Matt as well. Other names with M: Martin, Michael, Manuel, Marshall, Max, Miles.
