Hamburg. Specifically the Harburg District of that city. They just didn't meet there. They lived with each other. In Arabic it's called "Beyit Al Shuhada" (Martyrs' House) and is a temporary residence for terrorists who are going to carry out an attack where some or all of them will actually be committing suicide.

I would have done things differently if I'd been Bush. As you stated most (15) of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. The remaining 4 were Egyptians. Both are countries supposedly friendly to the US. If I'd been Bush, I'd have rolled up Saudi Arabia like an old rug. That would have sent a strong message. It would have brought the secular Muslims like Saddam right back to our side. He was our ally once before in the 1980's, and would have been again if it served his purpose. The S.O.B. was nothing if not a survivor. We'd also have had a handle on the Muslim radicals. Taking Saudi would have given us control over the two holiest Muslim sites, Mecca and Medina, both of which we could have blasted off the face of the earth as payback for 9/11. Let's see if these creeps can survive 2,0000 years without their temple like the Jews have. I wouldn't bet on it, would you?
