16= 2*2*2*2
18=2*3*3
LCM = 2*2*2*2*3*3 = 144

M16 = 16 32 48 64 80 96 112 128 144
LCM = 144

the Least common multiple is 144
because 16 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 and
18 = 3 * 3 * 2 to get least common multiple is
2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 = 144

The least common multiple would need 4-2's and 2-3's. 2*2*2*2*3*3 = 144

114 isn't divisible by either 16 or 18 and so, isn't a multiple of either

16=2x2x2x2 and 18=2x3x3 you take one 2x2x2x2 and add what is not there from another one:3x3 all together 2x2x2x2x3x3=144 144:16=9 144:18=8 1f you decide to take 2x3x3 first than you add what is not there from first one 2x2x2 and it will be the same 2x3x3x2x2x2=144 Answer: 144
