Evolution. I wan't a wrestling fan when Evo was around, I only liked the James' in DX, and Rated RKO lasted way too short. Damn Triple H's ACL.
But seriously, the concept behind Evolution was genious. Use a legend (Ric Flair) and your top star (HHH) to make two new comers (Batista & Randy Orton) stars. Say what you want, but look at it. RKO and Batista are main eventing RAW and SmackDown! right now.

My top 3.
1.The old D-Generation-X
They were so funny and i loved it when they raided Nitro at the Norfolf Scope.Too bad they closed the door before DX could get in.
2.the Ministry.
They were awesome. They knew how to work alot of great storylines. They also get an extra point cause the Undertaker was with them
3.Evolution
With the Skills of Randy Orton, the Leadership of Triple H,the Experience of Ric Flair and, back then, the Brute Force of Batista,They were the top dogs on Raw.No one better.

The most effective was the original Four Horsemen (Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Ole and Arn Anderson, and JJ Dillon as their manager). Often imitated, never duplicated (and never will be).
The most entertaining was the DX of Triple H, Chyna, X-Pac, and The New Age Outlaws. Lots of classic hilarious stuff!
My favorite group is the DX I just mentioned.

I think Evolution was the best all around, but I have a soft spot for Rated RKO.

Gary v is right. The four horsemen were the alpha and omga of stables.Consequently Dx took alot of cues from the horsemen considering HHH and Michaels both idolized Ric Flair
