Even Michael Jackson when he performed onstage. He was a notorious "crotch" grabber. Could you imagine President Bush grabbing his crotch during a Presidential Address?

lmfao, nope I can't imagine Bush doing that little number. Many rappers wear their trousers down to their knees, so maybe they get paranoid & grab at their crotch just to make sure it's still in the correct position & most importantly still there though I doubt that's what going on. Most rappers songs are full of vulgar lyrics about sex, b!tches, h0es etc so grabbing at their crotch could be their way of verifying their "masculinity" & implying they wanna use it to do those things they refer to in their rap music.

To show masculinity. They've probably gotten into the habit of grabbing themselves now because they are conforming to "gangsta", but originally I suppose they were "flaunting" themselves. It's just the same as a woman wearing a skimpy top or tight jeans, to show off her assets, except they can't really have a little crotch sack... oh yeah and if they would happen to wear tight jeans it would, in their eyes, emasculate them because it's a very feminine thing to do

sometimes when you feel itchy on other part of your body, instead of scratch..you kinda grab/pinch a small part of it and it won't itch anymore right? so when MJ performed on stage, there's no way he can scratch it every few seconds so grabbing it will do i think ;p
