What should i wear with this dress?

Question

I have a dress that is off white/almost cream but a lighter shade, which is not exactly white, that has pink flowery print on it. Should i wear a black sweater or a white sweater with it? And what kind of shoes?

if i wear a white sweater, should i wera leather sandals (brown), or if i wear a black sweater should i wear black flats?

Absolutely the black sweater and shoes - with the large print and bright pink of the dress, that will give you a bold sassy outfit; do add pearls for the retro-50's pop!

The cream sweater is just all wrong for this dress. The little green moose or whatever is is is really distracting and doesn't go at all with the print. The orange soles of the sandals will show, and this is a real mis-match! Also be careful to avoid accessories that will make this look too little-girlish.

Don't wear the white, it'll look funny and off. Black sweater and black flats. If you could, I'd try to get a sweater that kind of matches the flowery print, but that's way too detailed, so go with the black.

White sweater, no question, and the brown leather sandals. Black would not look well at all with a cream colored pink flowered dress.

I wouldn't wear a black or white sweater with that. I don't know if I'd even wear that dress. But if you need a sweater, go with pink. NEVER wear white with cream.

Pink of the flowers would be best, but
1] second option - off white/cream with matching shoes; either strappy sandals, ballet flats, or pumps
2] nude color sweater and shoes
3] gray etc.
4] black etc.
Do you have a jacket that would match? With matching shoes, of course.
NEVER wear colors that 'almost' match,. Switch to a totally different color - cream looks dingy with white, light gray looks faded next to dark gray, etc.
