My kitchen just burned down today and there is soot all over the place. I need a simple method to remove soot from my laptop (keyboard, screen), digital piano (keys), and the furnitures. What if the soot has already been smeared, is there any way to remedy this? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't touch anyhing. Call your insurance company and have them video everything. They can reccommend some professional places that will repair or replace your items for the cost of your co-pay. If you don't have insurance, don't touch anything but look in the phone book for places that clean fire damaged items. Make sure that they can guarantee their work or replace anything that they break. Sorry about your kitchen and stuff. The problem with soot is that the particles are so small that it gets deep down into everything and us non-professionals tend to muck it up.

there was a fire in my kitchen when i was like 10 and we had to have professional cleaners come. i wouldn't really trust them though cus the crew hat did out house they did it in like 4 days and each day the head guy came in hung over and he stole my gameboy.

yeah but you should call profesionals. but look into them before you hire them to make sure theyre not like the people that did my house.

Hopefully you have insurance, if so, let the professionals do it, for you.
