Hi Rose, here is a link to the community Guidelines FAQ. Not exactly rivetting reading, but just in case ...
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/abuse/
I read an answer once (sorry can't find it), in which someone said that Avatar Games are a form of 'chat', so officially,I guess that is a 'violation', but someone would have to be pretty mean-spirited to report you!!!
Hope you can sort it out!
Best wishes :-)

I agree completely!! I have received one violation!! To this day I have absolutely no clue what the violation was!! I went through all of their Guidelines and could find no reason for it!! I sent emails to them to appeal it or for them to at least tell me what the violation was and they just sent me emails back telling me to refer to the Guidelines!! Another one that they sent said they had the right to violate anyone in violation of the Community Guidelines, everything but an answer!! If I could figure out what the violation was maybe it would have been easier to accept!!

relies upon on the severity. this is extremely cumulative. i replaced into suspended in the present day after the 1st violation in almost a year. For solicitation, no much less. bypass parent, i do no longer promote something yet blogs. the subject is, if the guy who comments you has a "clean" record of reporting, they do no longer even examine. It took countless appeals and four months until now I have been given a carry of a Yahoo! rep who took the time to make certain that i replaced into trustworthy and truthful.

No one seems to have an answer. I just got a violation for something that had been posted for about a week. I have no idea why.

I sent them the same answer 5 times in an email and explailned how it violated none of their "community guidelines" and never received a response. I think they figure the squeaky wheel will shut up eventually!

It has happened to me on a few occasions as well.
I replied to them explaining why I believed that I hadn't breached any of the Community Guidelines, and asked them to please inform me about which Community guideline I had broken. It's been a few months and I have yet to receive a response.
I am postulating that they won't tell you in order to save some work on their part.
