Like curiosity killed the cat. Curiosity is when you want to know what is in something or what happened or just the what if. It is about the not knowing but wanting to find out.

Curiosity is the inability to have or the fear of boredom. As a result, the mind will begin to seek out any thought or concept to replace the boredom.
Curiosity has lead to humans in space and mental illness, depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, etc.
Very few species get bored in zoos and in the study of animal psychology. The ones who do are generally higher brain functioning and experience depression.
