I absolutely LOVE and DESIRE Christmas but sometimes it's hard in Florida. I used to live in Massachusetts where there was a such thing as a white Christmas. What's something I could do to bring that special christmasy feeling to myself/Florida?

Go extreme and decorate your home with at least 25000 lights. Nothing gets you in the mood quicker than spreading Christmas memories via decorations.

I am including some links to some Florida decorators and others.

Have fun

I just moved to FL but I've visited for a few Christmases. It's strange because it's hot, there are plam trees, and no one wears snuggly sweaters with felt snowmen - they wear flip-flops. :(

I found that when the family all gathers around it's easier find the Christmas feeling.

Lots of real pine in your house... Make sure to have a real live tree and wreathes...so at least you would have the smell of Christmas. I would hate to live in Florida at Christmas. I live in Ohio and I get bummed when we dont have snow at Christmas. Bums me out when the sun shines on Christmas even....lol
