My dear friend: I have suffered through three (3) extremely abusive relationships. It may seem like you do NOT have a place to go. Any place away from him is better than staying with him and enduring his abuse.

There are shelters for battered women in most every city in the country. Please call the National Center For Domestic Abuse toll free hot-line. They will help you find a shelter near you.

If you do NOT have transportation, the shelter will make arrangements to meet you somewhere to pick you up and take you there.

Do NOT let your husband know you have or are planning on calling them. This will enrage him!

Please call them immediately even if it means walking or driving to a pay phone. If you don't do this immediately, the next beating may be your last.

I myself have spent time at three different shelters for battered women and they really will help you, I promise! If you have children, you can take them with you.

I sincerely hope you will take my advice. Here is the number to call: 1-800-799-SAFE

That is not true. There are many organizations for battered women. You need to get away from him. Do you want to end up dead. I know it is not easy, but staying with a monster like that will only bring misery and pain. Don't you have family? Come on sweetie, where there is a will, there is a way. There is a link down bellow, go and check it out. But whatever you decide to do, please get out. Get away from him. You deserve better.

Call 800-799-SAFE or go here http://www.ndvh.org/ and get information that can help you.

You do not stay with anyone who abuses you, period. Call the cops and have his sorry self arrested. Then you can stay, and he can live in the local prison.
