Well it's Bob Dylan actually and it's *rapping* at your door but I always put my own words to songs because that seems a bit too violent.

There is a nice song about a vagabond, or hobo. It's by Tim Buckley, called Morning Glory, from his Goodbye and Hello album.
It tells of a vagabond who "sees a light in the window of a house, tried to climb the stairs but they are too hard to climb.
Then you be damned, I said to the hobo, as he walked past my fleeting house."
