The Quakers (with a "Q" as it is a proper noun) loved God and, as all Christians should, wanted to show His love to those around them. These loving people treated the native Americans with love and respect. The Native Americans returned this treatment in kind, helping the quakers through the winter etc.

Pity that more Christians (including me) are not more like this today. If we were the Church would soon take over the world.
