The answer depends upon what operating system you're using and which version. In most versions of Windows, go to My Computer, then right click on the drive designated as C and select Properties. There are some utilities available under the Tools tab but the most helpful to you would probably be to click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and then run Disk Cleanup.

the only way i know of to free up space on a hard drive is to delete unused programs.go to control panel/add and remove programs and then delete anything you dont need.

My Computer then C:\

Not sure why your needing this.

Burn data like Pictures, Music, Video's to CD or DVD.

Un-installing programs is My Computer> Control Panel> Add & Remove.

Running Ccleaner will clean up lots of old internet data your don't need

Open My Computer, C drive will appear.

Easier way is to run ccleaner.

Delete some movies or burn them to a DVD or uninstall programs you never use keep the .exe but uninstall them

You must on computer and then click on my computer.A screen will appear and then right click on c drive and then click on properties and after that click on format.

YOU GO TO YOUR DOCUMENTS, THEN YOU CLICK THE ARROW AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN THAT SAYS WHAT FOLDER UR iN, THEN SELECT THE DRiVE THAT SHOULD SAY LOCAL DISK/C-DRIVE. [AT LEAST THATS WHAT MiNE]
