Any ideas in what career I can pursue in social work while using my creative writing talents?

1. You can write brochures for non-profit organizations.
2. You can write press releases and official announcements for non-profit organizations.
3. You can write, create, or rewrite official forms, form letters, official documents, and other neccessary papers. You know, be the person who creates all that paperwork and red tape.
4. You can write newspaper stories, literature or books pertaining to helping people. You can write poems, opinion letters, letters to the editor, and official mailings for fundraising.
5. You can write advertising copy for radio and television ads for non-profit organizations.

There's a lot of people who need help and there and a lot of government agencies with very confusing instructions and 5 forms for no reason. You have your work cut out for you. Get busy.

If you become an administrative social worker you might be able to spend a lot of your time and creative writing skills in writing grant proposals. I'm sure that what ever organization that you choose to work for will need more money that it has especially if it's a non-profit. My sister is an administrative social worker and she spends a lot of time writing grant proposals to get more money for the various projects that they wish to engage in.

The two can easily work together in two major ways. 1) You could tap into your love of writing by writing grants and 2) you can become a published author writing books, journal articles, and even pieces in local papers. 3) You could get involved in policy advocacy and write on many levels related to policy, policy advocacy, etc. Finally, therapeutically you can use creative writing with your clients. Variations of narrative work, having clients tell their stories, poetry and related forms of work. DA

No. even nonetheless philosophy is particularly innovative in some experience, "innovative writing" is an extremely particular element - fiction. something it quite is (or is meant to be) actual or authentic isn't innovative writing.
