Anyone wish they would have been born in another time, another century?

Yes... about two centuries ago, I would be considered an incarnated beauty... even a model!! And being a professionist would be something to be proud of and I'd be admired and envied because of it, and if I didn't get a cool job, people just couldn't care less.
But not... in this century I'm just fat and ugly. Still paying my College Debt, oh, and I hate my job

Sometimes I think about it. I want to be back in another century to see what it was like and what choices I would have made. I wish that we could go back in time and answer all of our question about history and meet all the people.
I do wish that I was born in another time;sometimes

Sometimes I wish I were born in a different time or place, because this anti-culture is killing us all. It always seems that life was simpler then, happier. If only I could have been born into a novel like War and Peace. Actually, I'm sure it doesn't work that way and everyone way back when had just as many problems as we have, just different ones.

I wish I would have grown in up in the time my parents did. When life was more simple. My Dad told me they use to have guns in there car at school to go pheasant hunting after to school. NO Big Deal! Our society is filled with violence and hate. What have we become? The older I get the more scared of the future I am. We as a society have lost our values. OK, I'm done now and I feel better. Thanks for letting me vent!

I used to want that, but the more I study history, the less sure I am I would chose the "right" century if I had the choice!

yes I do I wish I would have been born about 1750....I would have liked to be there when the war broke out and perhaps even be a part of it....My favorite time in history...

I am Jewish so this century, so far, seems to be the best for me. I hope it stays that way.
