A person putting up a wall does not wish to change what ever it is that you want changed. I would suggest an incentive or reward for positive results. If its a guy then any affection at any level will be tha reward. A hug or quick kiss does wonders in your training schedule. Eventually it will become a habit for him and the bonus is that affection begets affection so get to have fun too.

I do talk to brick walls. They keep my secrets.

People on the other hand, sometimes are bored by my rambling and turn into brick walls while I'm still talking.

Damn near every time I try to talk to my kids! In fact, sometimes I yell at the wall because I get a better response.

I have kids and grandkids who live with me- I'm the "matriarch" that everyone comes to... I'm ALWAYS talking to a brick wall!!!! And yes, the brick wall wouldn't tick me off as much!

Rarely; I'm a good communicator,I can usually get people to open us their mind at least a crack. If that doesn't happen then, yes,a wall would be preferable. At least it has an excuse for being immovable.

The wall's always better, you ask it something then it says the same thing back to you so you answer it thus answering your question.

At least once or twice when I check every one of my questions.
In real life it happens far less often, I'm pretty good at weeding out those types of people.
