when my great-grandfather died...He was a great man who taught me to be happy with myself no matter what and that being female did not mean I was limited in life. He played pro baseball back in the day but quit to take care of his family and became a firefighter. He was still a fireman in his late 60's when he died from smoke inhalation after a fire. His funeral was at a church in the country with a little baseball field behind it, so all of the kids were playing while the adults were inside. I managed to hit a home run (my first ever) and I ran straight to the church to tell him. My parents stopped me and told me that I couldn't tell him about it because he was dead. I was only 4 so up until that point I thought that dying was like being busy with something, that if it was important you could still talk. That was the last time I remember crying.

It's a tie, my wife was killed in a motorcycle accident we had years ago or my son was killed in the war three years ago. Both very bad you pick which is worst!!!
