what the capital eff is wrong with you people. the average height of the basketballer has risen by over three inches in the past twelve years.
get over your short selves and RAISE THE BAR or lose the excitement. grammar school hoops, fine, leave them where they are.
all you thumbs downers must be short folk, what the eff. can't you appreciate the height of the new player, play by taking the short odd you bitter whatevers. I'm average height and ya'll are a bunch of crying babies. RAISE THE BASKET.

I think the mens' basket SHOULD be raised, people are getting taller and taller with each generation, it is a fact folks, and it's getting boring seeing the pro's jump lightly, stuff the ball, hold onto the rim and swing, while their feet either drag on the court or they bend their legs to lift them from dragging!

NO. Only certain players don't have to try and still dunk. Understand that the players you see in the NBA are a tiny percentage of the basketball playing population, and only the elite. So really all you see is the best of the best. Plus, if you raise the rim then every generation of basketball players up until now will have to adjust their shots. It would only benefit future generations, none of the people now. So, if you're thinking about people now or yourself, there really is no benefit.

No, many do still need to jump. There just happen to be several large players now. The basket size is fine...

No. Changing the hoop know would lower scores and excitment= less viewers, $, and ticked off players.
