Yeah, it's actually more than a bit unnerving. I guess we're supposed to take solace and have faith in their Hippocratic oath, 'First do no harm...'. Still it's well known that medicine is not an 'exact science'. They're learning as they go along all the time. Too bad most doctors are way too entrenched in their god complex to remember that fact.

Do you know what you call a person that gets a D minus average throughout medical school? Doctor.

Somewhere in the world is the worst doctor. The real scary part is that someone has an appointment with him tomorrow.

When you consider (according to NBC TV news) that all the leading causes of death have to do with the medical profession, it is easy to understand why they call it "practice"; it is what they do. They "practice", most never get it right, leading doctor's errors to be the No. 1 cause of death in the U.S. of A.

oh yes,they practice on you! in florida the patients (who are having surgery) have to mark the area with an indelable pencil so the surgeons wont make any mistakes which they often do down there.
