I usually can help them out...However, sometimes, the older children have to go to dad for the math homework. Math was never my forte.

Depends on which kid, subject and grade level. I actually retook two college level algerbra classes last year to be able to better help my kids, just couldn't remember the stuff after all the yrs out of college. Most other classes are no problem to help them with except maybe computers. Oh my kids are in high school and college.

It's been along time since I was in school and now these days schools are tought alot harder and some of my kids homework is way beyond me. so I look it up and study it and show them how to anwser it and how to figure it out.

I have been able to help my children with their homework up until recently,My eldest daughter(she's in 3rd year high school and does 4 year high school maths) has been bringing home maths homework that I cannot help her with as it just goes right over my head,so she has to wait until her Da gets home to get some help.

I can help him. Some of the questions do seem to be a bit tricky at times LOL. And as someone mentioned earlier thank goodness for the internet :-)

I'm in grade 8 and both my parents are university graduates and they can't figue out 80% of my math homework.

My father helps me 24/7.
It's kinda annoying though. I mean, in some of the assignments, I don't even really need help.

school is becoming more advanced then back in the day but we are able to relate and get the idea. our methods might be a little different but not impossible lol

Well, my son is in headstart so he only has one home task to do a week. Which is always simple. I fear when he is in high school I might not be able to help much.

I can handle it. I keep up with college and H.S. books that teach and show how to do all the courses. I get them at the campus stores.
