Freddie Mercury from Queen. He is a bit overrated, but he has a nice vocal range.
For females, Aretha Franklin. She's more of a soul singer, but she's good too.
My personal favorite is John Lennon. There's something unique about his voice. It kinda sounds psychedelic.
