Willingham hasn't exactly turned UW around either. They showed today against Ohio State that they've got alot of work to do. I think the underlying point is that it seems pretty evident that Weis will lose his job at the end of this season, I can't imagine that not happening. Notre Dame's got to give a coach a chance to recruit for a few years and see how those classes turn out. It seems three years is going to be their limit, and I don't think that's enough time to turn around a program that's been in turmoil.

20-20 hindsight is always much clearer I suppose. The fact is Notre Dame is in deep do-do and I don't see them climbing out of it in the near future. As I look at their schedule I see only to possible wins this year. Both at home against Navy and Duke. Other than that the fans better bring pocket video games to the stadium just to keep from falling asleep during the "games".
