The Green Mile was the best movie I saw that was written by Stephen King.

I have watched the two you mentioned as well. He can write some weird stuff. Silver Bullet really got me because that child was in the wheelchair and I was so frightened for him.
I watched The Tommyknockers, and that was strange.

The Pet Cemetary. I read the book then saw the movie. Usually the movie isn't as good as the book but not in this case.

The Shing was good. Jack played the role perfectly.I still say redrum in that scary voice sometimes:)

I didn't realize that King did Shawshank Redemption. That was a movie I have seen more than once and with each time, seeing something new that I had missed. Great

IT was good in book form but the movie gave me the heebie-geebies.

Christine I saw years ago. It was kind of scary.

I thought 1408 was a great movie. Stephen King aways lets me down with his endings. But not with this one.
Rose Red, Storm of the Century and the movie It were good too.

I am someone who tends to read the book first and then see the movie, for comparison.

My personal favorites are The Green Mile and The Stand and not in any particular order. They're both good.

The Green Mile, I cried. I love Stephen King, and read all most all his books, but this was his best movie.

If you like Stephen King, put away the movies and read the books, the movies do not do his work justice.
