my phone sux like its stupid and keeps breaking. prolly cause i keep dropping it and stuff but not puposely. so like now it keeps shutting off like when im trying to text someone or like when im just opening the phone it shuts off and restarts. its really annoying. i told my mom and she wont get me a new one. its so not fair. i need a new one. i tried like every excuse,i have a lot, and she still wont get me one. wat can i do now.

When my daughters were younger I paid for a cell phone for my daughters.However, I only paid for an emergency phone plan and therefore kept the rates low and it was used responsibly. Unfortunately you have come to expect that your parents should replace everything you break or misuse. Life is not fair,never was, never will be.A cell phone is neither a toy nor indestructable. Why would your mom replace your cell phone if you can't look after it.At 14 you should be able to get a babysitting job to earn the money for a phone.Perhaps you will take greater care of it.Take care.

Uh, since you habitually drop your phone, it would be crazy for her to keep spending money on new phones you can break.
Maybe you'll eventually learn to take care of things so you don't break them.
Uh, "can't" or "won't"?
If you want a new phone, buy one.
If you can't afford it, then stop dropping the one you have.
Maybe if you give your mom some EVIDENCE that you are no longer completely careless about destroying your things, she'll reconsider.
But she's have to be out of her mind to waste her money buying you phones you drop all the time and refuse to be careful with.
Maybe if you bought a phone yourself, you'd learn how to not carelessly destroy it.

Hmm could she be trying to help you mature and realizes she shoudln't have bouth it in the first palce but instead made you buy it? Maybe.
What is the problem - sounds like she is doing what Moms do.
Oh but then again may be the problem is that you are a spoiled little princess **** because Mom bought you a cell phone to begin with. I would bet you have a ton of "stuff" that you threw a temper tantrum to get - so you think it will work this time.
Sounds like your mom has wised up and realized that no one has a right to cell phone if they aere not willing to pay for it themselves and that if she were to buy you another one she would just be helping you be more of spoiled whining kid.
My mom used to cut my meat and wipe my butt too but thank god that stopped wheni got old enough to do it myself.

Guess what you are not the only kid that has gone thru that. I did the same thing with my son. Try going on ebay and buy a new battery. They are really cheap there. A parents thought, for you info, is that if you can't take care of your stuff then it doesn't mean that much to you and you will have to deal with the concequences.

Yea my US cellular phone did that. I had to have a broken phone for 6 months and no phone for 1 month. It sucked, but I wasn't dropping mine like you were. I think you should be more careful especially if your not paying for it. You should respect your parents a little more than that. You should also know that you probably wont get a new phone by whining anyways.

Your mommy is paying for your phone. Be grateful you even have a cell phone. If you don't want to buy your own new phone, then I guess you are stuck with what you have. Parents are not obligated to buy you extra things like cell phones and dvds. Parents need to feed you, clothe you, and provide shelter over your head. Sorry. Get a job.

Are you kidding? It is TOO fair! Both of my kids have cell phones and I wouldn't dream of getting them new ones just because they don't know how to take care of the one they already have.
Show more responsibility. Ask if you can earn some money so you can buy a phone yourself.

Such a tragedy! First of all grow up! Get a job if you want to get new things and don't rely on someone else. Learn to look after your possesions. I'm not surprised your not getting a new phone. In my day my parents couldn't afford anything like that so consider yourself lucky.

Stop acting like a spoiled brat. Take care of your stuff, maybe you could do some kind of work for your mom. Then maybe she will get you a new phone.
