For some religions, myth is an essential component to a ritual. Especially for those of us who are polytheistic and worship the deities of pantheons like Celtic, Norse, Hellenic, Vedic, etc, the myths that surround our God/desses are looked to when planning a ritual. For me, following an ADF Druidic path, the myths/histories are intertwined through the ritual as we honor our Kindred.
