fact 1: trees use sunlight and make it into something called clorphyl which 1. keeps tree alive along with water and 2. turns leaves green in color(its like a dye)
fact 2: shorter days=less sunlight=less cholorphyl being made for tree
fact 3: the tree is losing energy by giving clorophyl to leaves so it makes a cork layer inbetween branch and leaf cutting off nutrients and dye to leaf. it takes all the clorphyl to just stay alive.
fact 4: the leaves then turn to being the colors under the green. they lose nutrients and die off. then fall because connection to tree is smaller and less strong/wind blows em off

This is a part of God's giving every thing a chance to shed, die and be "reborn." The leaves are so beautiful. Peace, Love and God Bless.
