the kill switch is a switch used to interupt the power to the coil on the ignition circuit on most modern motorcycles and as such you could leave the ignition switch and it would'nt drain the battery however everthing else would kill it and on the older bikes it was use ground to the coil out and kill the bike and that is where the myth started GL

No.
Power goes to the ignition switch before it goes to the kill switch.
With the key off, no battery power is going to any part of your bike.

I refill the gas tank and upload a gas stabilizer. as quickly as living house i adjust the oil and clear out. i do no longer initiate the engine. I pass the bike into the rear of the storage and eliminate the battery. by way of removing the previous oil I eliminate each and all the acids that are modern-day by way of combustion technique. an entire tank of gas will ward off the interior a steel gas tank from rusting. The battery is desperate on my artwork bench the place I can charge it approximately as quickly as a week. I initiate out the driving year with clean oil and a completely charged battery that has no longer been broken by way of the chilly.

On EVERY motorcycle I've known of, No.
If the ignition switch is in the off position, then there is no power going to the kill switch, unless, it is not stock, and someone 'messed' with it.

The Kill switch only cuts power to the motor,so no.You generally only use the Kill in an emergency and use the key day to day.

It shouldn't, taking your key out of the ignition should kill the circuit to the kill switch.
