I need to go up to the front of my church tomorrow and i have a realy heavy period. I can't wear black, or a tampon. I know you can't lighten your period but is there any way to hide it better?

Try the Always brand ultra thins. I bleed very heavily and felt like I was in a diaper before trying these. I promise they work, I know they can be a little more money but they are worth it.
I even wear them with jeans and no one can tell, my 16 yr old daughter would tell me if you could.......

Nope, not without taking the Pill, and you need more than a few hours for that to work anyhow.
Try tampons. I started using them with my first period. I used to use pads on occasion (if I was at a friend's house and I didn't have any tampons, for example) and I hated them! They felt like diapers to me. I really can't imagine why anyone uses them. Seriously, give them a try, they are so much better!

No way to hide it that I know of. Just make sure you have a pad on that is securely on your under garments. Go to the bathroom right before you have to be at the front of your church to insure everything is ok.

My period is heavy too, you should try wearing blue, red, or green. You should also wear the super maxi pads with wings and you will be ok.

Just wear a large pad, it should be fine. They make teen tampons for girls who have never used one before.

you acually can but you will gain weight what you do is you use birth control it fools the body that it is preagnant and ya but in my opinion i think you should wear a tampon but if that is the case that you cant wear one i would wear a maxi pad they work good

double it, tampon+pads or a super absorbent pad or bring lots of those and change often... why not wear a darker color? blue or something? tell your mom... maybe she can help thing of somehting too
