i went to finlad like 7 years ago and i kept like 50 dollars worth of finnish marks. now that they use euros can i change my marks for dollars at a money exchange stand?

Travelex (which has locations in most major cities) does still buy some pre-euro currencies. You can call them to confirm which ones they still buy.

Next time you go to Finland, take them to the bank there and they will hook you up.
