being as you have access to the internet, sure, go and download the drivers, either from a 3rd party driver website, or the manufacturers (if they have one). If you could provide the make/model, I can point you in the right direction, alternativly try: http://www.printer-drivers.com/

hope this helps ;) good luck...

Yes, you can install a printer without the disk it came with. You may be able to use a driver built into windows. (Check under control panel => Printers => Add a Printer). You can also usually get the proper software from the website of the company that makes the printer. You just have to know the exact model of printer you have.

You can get printer drivers off of the internet.
Go to your printer manufacturer's website, and look for "support", "downloads", or something along the lines of that.
http://www.driverguide.com/ has a lot of drivers available as well. You need to create an account, though. Dont worry, it's free.
Select the correct driver for your printer brand.
Once downloaded, open up My Computer, click on your main drive (C by default), go to "Windows".
If it hides the contents, click on "Show the contents of this folder."
Once in Windows, click system32.
In THAT folder, there will be a folder called "Drivers". Extract (if your drivers are in a .zip folder),or copy-and-paste your printer drivers in that folder, then restart.
If that doesnt work, then I'm not sure what will.

If Windows doesn't automatically recognize it, or you want the full features of the printer software, usually the manufacturer's website will have a software or driver download.

The manufacturer site should have it. If it doesn't, then you will need to get a new printer or find the disk.
