The answer is the Fair Tax plan.

See for yourself.
Also, getting TRUE conservatives in office would really help. Bush has his ups and downs but he doesn't mind spending. He is a social conservative and a fiscal liberal. Have a line item veto would sure help. A president would no longer have any excuses for passing any pork programs.

that may no longer as lots of a black and white undertaking as you think of. you've it the two methods if spending is decrease in different factors. it quite is something that the left that may not in any respect understand, through fact they choose entitlements and stimulus applications and bailouts and "money for clunkers" and different issues that each physique cost money. extra tax isn't the only thank you to pay off a deficit, and due to this the left fails time and time lower back. decreased government spending is the alternative way of paying down the deficit. it quite is the place the actual black and white comes into play. you have 2 ideas, decrease spending or develop taxes. the two way, there'll be losers, and individuals who would be offended...yet right it quite is the question...which will result extra human beings? And which will result extra people who certainly pull their weight in society? Tax hikes will positively negatively influence extra human beings than reducing entitlement courses, to no longer point out, why could we proceed to punish the individuals who paintings and not the individuals on the government dole? and not purely the entitlements, government itself needs to step as much as the plate and take one for the team...they might take pay cuts, income low-priced rates, and so on, yet they in no way will. CEO's and VPs of businesses will try this in difficult circumstances, why can not our government?

. This is a typical Liberal using short term or no term thinking! I'll explain: It sounds good that all the Liberals have to do is Tax the hell out of Americans to pay for the debit But the long term it fails to do so! But they keep trying . NEWS flash Clinton (when he was Impeached) left office leaving the Country in a recession .Under Bush the economy is doing better then it ever was under the Clinton administration And he did it with TAX CUTS The reason Tax cuts work is because it stimulates the Market People have more of there own money to spend , When Liberals do the Tax hikes People's spending goes down and when spending goes down so does the economy

They never had a plan. At least not on Bush's tenure.
Watch and listen as they complain when their taxes have to go up during the next Presidency to pay off the trillions W has overspent on both wars and the tax cuts for the rich.
Ooh! Bitchslap!
There's no free ride for anyone under $100K anymore.
TRUTH.

I'm not in favor of a tax cut. I do believe that all, including the wealthy, should pay a fair share. The wealthy pay less in taxes than most middle income wage earners. It is time for a fair tax system. I'm not for increasing taxes on the working man unless the wealthy are forced to pay their fair share. I, for one, am tired of carrying the load for both ends of the spectrum, the rich & the not so poor!

Quit spending on these BS programs that the liberals use to buy votes. Make people take care of themselves instead of looking to the government for a handout, because they are too lazy to get off their fat butts and get a job.
And I agree with Boston George...VOTE RON PAUL!

Ooh! I have an idea!
How about WE STOP THE FARKING WAR!!!! It's just a black hole of money suck.
Let's do things that really matter, like ensure that people in America have health care, that property taxes go down so that people can actually afford to own houses and be productive members of society, or give businesses that deserve a break a break so that they can hire more people.
But that's just an idea.

Mr. Bush has not created any deficit. Mr. Bush's tax policies have created a booming economy, low unemployment, the highest number of people working ever, the highest average weekly wage.
The deficit is cause by spending, not by tax rates. The problem is Congress and the Administration. They are spending too much money, spending more than ever before, and spending more than the highest total tax returns ever.
