Peyton Manning is my starter, and Travis Henry is my RB. I figured I needed another starting running back for my RW/RB option. Should I deal Carson Palmer for Clinton Portis? Or just grab Betts off the waiver wire? I also have Chris Brown and Lamont Jordan at RB.

I wouldn't do it yet. Palmer is ranked my many as the #2 fantasy QB.

Portis has been injury prone and has been battling a rib injury. I'd pick up Betts, but start jordan this week. Philly allowed just 46 rushing yards last week.

Denver let up 112 yards.

Wait a couple weeks, and you can trade Palmer for someone better.

Palmer is worth more than Portis. Find a team with sorry QBs and try to get someone without the injury issues like Portis. Palmer is the 2nd best QB in fantasyland so you should be able to get at worse a top 10 RB (if not a top 5) in return. If nothing else think of Palmer as great insurance and as long as he is on your bench he cant hurt you like he might in a deal.

Yes This is going to be a big year for Portis. you should try to do the trade but if it dont work out you could just start Lamont Jordan. Is is also going to have a big year
