Do you think her son --who volunteered--would be proud of her actions right now---pro Iraq or not???

I do not mean or try to disrespect anyone w/ my question --I was just wondering the real reasons behind her protest--is it just for status or is she really after something? I am a parent and if my child went and did there duty w/ honor I don't think I would be acting like this unless there was an underlying reason--this is just a thought and I am NOT trying to dis-service our troops!!

Whatever her motivations were at the beginning...she has truly drifted into madness of late. A son will always have love for his mother, but I think he would ask her to stop before she goes irretrievably off the deep end. Pray for her and her family. I have no doubt she is being used by liberal PACs right now to further their cause without regard for her or what she's been through.

Personally, I think camping outside the Prez's ranch was a little too much. My son is a Marine, he's about to go to Iraq. Pro or not, I would never publicly say anything that would insinuate that his job was not honorable.

What I believe about that whole thing is that no one can tell her how she should feel about he own sons death, and how she channels those emotions in a positive way.
If she wants to be against war, it used to be legal to protest war in the U.S..
You would have to be a parent to understand anger at someone else for what Ms Sheehan believes is an unnecessary war that killed her child. Even though he volunteered, I'm sure he had no idea how his mother would feel should something happen to him.
I hope that she is proud of him for stepping up, and I hope that he is proud of her for defending HER country also in a way that she hopes will be a positive change.

This is a tricky question as we will never know what her son would have thought of what his mother is doing, that's the point........He does not have a voice anymore, as the mother of a United States Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, I feel Cindy Sheehan should deal with the loss of her son, anyway she wants, she earned it. Her son stood for her right to speak freely, she is not dishonoring her son, she is honoring what the military allows us, Freedom of Speech.......

Look, you've just got to understand a Mother's love for her son. I would have been all for my son going to Afghanistan to fight and look for Bin Laden. But no Iraqi was involved in 9/11 and that was a war based on lies. Now that tends to tick a Mother off. I know! I am the Mother of a Paralyzed Veteran of America. He will never walk again, but at least he's alive and I don't have to endure Cindy Sheehan's pain of not having her son at all. Don't be too hard on us. It's out of love.
