OK, here is the problem. I have a compleatly custom exhaust on my 1998 3.8L V6 Camaro. It has Headers, 3" exhaust pipes and a Magna-Flow cat-back exhaust system. However, I am still left with the stock catalytic converter. How much is that holding my car back? Is there any way I can modify the stock cat to make it more "high flow"?

**Must pass PA emmissions inspection!! (can not cause "check engine light")**

Would I be better off just purchasing a high flow cat? any suggestions on what to look for?

You can get high flow converters. universal fit or factory fit. Magnaflow should be good, not legal in CA except for off road on OBII sys.

replace the catalytic converter with a test pipe. that'll make it high flow and should'nt have the check engine light come on
