For definate. Shows someone has made an effort rather than just opening the page and slotting one word answers in.

Of course if the question warrants a one-word or short answer then thats fair enough, but if someone is asking advice then I think if you know what you are about, then a detailed one is by far the best way to go>
I also feel being straight to the point as in being truthful should count for a lot too. I tend, in life also, not to say what people want to hear, but to be as truthful as I can with them. That way they will always know where they stand with me. I am of the belief that you may not like what you hear, but you will know its the truth..you can trust me on that.

Another way of answering this would be to say that if you arent going to put a sensible answer in, then why bother. I know you get 2points, but knowing you built your score up by giving genuine answers and not playing the idiot is a far better feeling to have inside!!!!!!!

Straight to the point! Then, if I need more information, I can ask follow-up questions. So many people tend to bury answers in so many words and details that it's hard to be sure whether they really gave you an answer of not! If you ask my ex a question, he always had to tell you a 10 minute story first. If he'd had a fast forward button we might still be together...

It's good to be straight to the point when the question doesn't need much; some questions require a detailed explanation.

Sometimes I like it when somebody writes about a situation that they are in similar to mine so that they can understand how I am feeling, e.g Im in love with a guy that doesnt feel the same way.

But then again.. I prefer straight to the point answers like when I need homework help and I say what is the square route of 9 time 183892 divided by 38721 (it was only an example!) ..I dont want to know how to work it out!! ..I just want an answer!! Hehe
