Yes. I'm going to say we're going to have our first female president in '08. When Obama gains some experiance he'll probobly run again and win. Colin Powell should have run before, he would have won. In the end though it doesn't really matter, however, but you're probobly tired of hearing that from all of the people before me who said that.

The way the country is going in 2025 the Prez will be a black female lesbian with a white wife and adopted Asian and African kids.

We could have had one in the 1990's, had Colin Powell chosen to run.
That we do not have a black (or female) president has more to do with the limited selection of viable candidates than anything else.
Give us a black, female, gay, Jewish, former drug addict president that has sensible stances on important issues and on maintaining the freedom of Americans, and I'll give that person my vote. And a lot of others would too.
It's 2007, and most of us are past racism and sexism.

Who cares? If someone votes based upon the candidates race or gender rather than their stance on the issues they shouldn't be allowed to vote to begin with. Then again most Americans have no clue what they are voting for they just look for the D or the R and push the button

If there is a qualified Black to be the President, yes. Obama is not your man, not yet anyway.

It might take Democrats that long, but I would predict that the Republicans will be first, well before that.

Maybe and maybe not. What does it matter? If you are choosing a president based solely on their race or sex, then you are cheating yourself and this nation.
